Creator Terms
These terms apply when you submit a series to Hookline. By ticking "I agree" in the creator studio you accept them.
Who can submit
You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. If you submit for a studio or group, you confirm you may agree for them.
You keep ownership
Your series stays yours. You give Hookline a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, stream and display your series on Hookline, and to use its title, poster, description and short clips (up to 60 seconds) to promote it, including on Hookline's social media accounts. Non-exclusive means you can also publish your series anywhere else.
Payment
Listing your series is free and you keep all rights to it.
Hookline does not pay for series yet. If revenue sharing starts, it will be offered to every creator in writing before it applies.
Your promises
- You made the series or have all the rights needed to license it to us: footage, script, images, voices and music.
- Music is licensed for this use and credited as its licence requires.
- If you used AI tools, their terms allow commercial use of what you made.
- Everyone recognizable in it agreed to appear, and it does not imitate a real living person without their consent.
- It follows the rules on the creator page: no sexual content, nothing involving minors that is sexual or exploitative, no hate speech, no graphic gore, nothing illegal.
If someone makes a claim against Hookline because one of these promises was not true, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that follow.
Review and removal
We review every series and episode before it goes public and may decline or remove any of them, at any time, with or without giving a reason. We may set which episodes are free to watch. AI-made series are labeled "Made with AI".
Taking your series down
To remove your series, email bellhenry905@gmail.com. We take it off Hookline within 7 days. Promotional posts already published may stay up, but we won't make new ones.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll ask you to accept the new version before you submit anything else. Changes never apply to money already earned.
