Privacy Policy
What Hookline collects, and why.
What we collect
- Your email address and password (stored encrypted) to run your account.
- Your PayPal subscription ID and status, to know whether you have paid. Card and bank details are handled by PayPal; we never see them.
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser) kept by our host for security.
- For creators: the creator name you give, the series and videos you upload, and when you accepted the Creator Terms.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data and don't run third-party ad trackers.
Statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which episodes people watch, where they stop, and whether they subscribe. It uses cookies and records things like your device, rough location and the pages you view. We don't send it your email or payment details. You can block it with any ad blocker or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Who processes it
PayPal (payments), our web host (Namecheap EasyWP), Google Analytics (visit statistics).
